West Chiltington & Thakeham Cricket Club is a fast developing & friendly club near the South Downs in West Sussex. Formed from two village sides, we are a Sussex CCC Focus Club and are recognised as one of the best equipped & operated clubs for youth development; we also have ECB ClubMark accreditation. WEST CHILTINGTON CROQUET CLUB is a small friendly club encouraging players at all levels. All you need to play this fascinating and challenging game is a pair of flat shoes! We have all the equipment and you are very welcome to come along and join us at one of our hosted sessions held from mid-April through September on Mondays at 9.45 a.m., Wednesdays at 1.45 p.m. and Fridays at 9.45 a.m. We meet by the sheds in the car park. Founded in the 1930's, West Chiltington Football Club has won many honours over the years, culminating in the WSFL Premiership cup & league double in the 1989/90 season. The present 1st team, back in the Premier Division after reforming in 1998, is striving to emulate their predecessors, by finishing 2nd in the League and winning the Walter Rossiter Trophy in 2013. The 2nd team won the Division 5 Central Championship in 2014. New players are always welcome. - West Chiltington Parish Council
